Gloria Bennett

Operations Officer at Women Enabled International

Gloria Bennett (she/her) is the Operations Officer at Women Enabled. With nearly 15 years of experience in international program strategy and operations, she coordinates the daily administration of WEI’s work, including event planning, project management, and process development with an intersectional feminist approach.

Currently based in the Lake George area of upstate New York, Gloria earned a BA in Philosophy (minor Gender Studies) from SUNY Purchase College and an MSc in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, where her research focused on gender and race in the language of political violence.

Prior to joining WEI, Gloria built her career in international program management while working at several non-profits and academic institutions including the Institute of International Education, where she managed operations for the Brazil Scientific Mobility and Foreign Fulbright Programs, the University of St Andrews in Scotland, where she oversaw international career services, specializing in North and South America and the MENA region, and at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where she coordinated program operations for the J+ continuing education division.

Outside of work, Gloria spends her time community organizing and writing about affordable housing, racial justice, disability justice, fat liberation, and labor rights.
