Fayel Achieng Odeny
Board Member at Women Enabled International
Fayel Achieng Odeny is a passionate human rights advocate and a woman with a psychosocial disability. She is a board member at Women Enabled International and the Access to Justice Hub, and she serves as the advocacy officer at the Kenya Association of the Intellectually Handicapped (KAIH).
Fayel is also a Commonwealth Fellow and a Professional Fellow with extensive experience in disability rights and social inclusion. She currently works at Inclusion International, supporting their human rights initiatives. With over twelve years of experience in the development sector, Fayel has worked as a support person for individuals with intellectual disabilities across Africa and internationally. She is also a justice intermediary, helping facilitate communication between people with intellectual disabilities and the justice system. As a renowned human rights trainer and advocate, she continues to champion the rights of marginalized communities.
