Fayel Achieng Odeny

Board Member at Women Enabled International

Fayel Achieng Odeny is a multifaceted woman with psychosocial disability. She is a board member at the Access to Justice Hub and the Advocacy officer at Kenya Association of the Intellectually Handicapped. She is also a Commonwealth fellow and a Professional Fellow. Fayel is now working at Inclusion International supporting with their human rights work. She is also a board member at Women Enabled International. Fayel’s background is in social work, having worked in the development world for over twelve years. Fayel has worked as a support person supporting many people with intellectual disabilities in Africa and internationally. She is also a justice intermediary supporting the facilitation of communication between people with intellectual disability and the justice system. She is also a renowned human rights trainer and advocate.
