Si Kailian
Finance Director at Women Enabled International
Si Kailian joined Women Enabled International (WEI) in 2014 and brings over two decades of expertise as a business manager to her role as Director of Finance. She is responsible for overseeing WEI’s comprehensive financial management, including the maintenance of financial records and the preparation and monitoring of project, annual, and development budgets. Additionally, Si manages the organization’s People & Culture and Operations functions, ensuring operational excellence across financial and personnel strategies.
Prior to joining WEI, Si worked extensively with a variety of small women-owned businesses and non-profit organizations in Washington, DC, to enhance their financial and operational capabilities.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Si is deeply committed to community service. She is a founding board member and Treasurer of City Blossoms, a non-profit that fosters urban green spaces and develops educational programs in underserved communities. Through this organization, she is a recipient of the Center For Nonprofit Advancement’s 2015 Board Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding excellence in nonprofit board governance. Si also contributes her expertise as Board Treasurer to School for Friends, a preschool in Washington, DC, which is dedicated to the core Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship.
